Before midnight, make yourself a cup of tea or pour a glass of wine and begin to dream of….. what’s next.

I like to dream and plan with a partner, my husband.  We review what we accomplished in the previous year, what we didn’t, what we learned and where we failed.  We try to be gentle with the failures as they are wonderful opportunities to learn.

For 31 years, the following questions are what my husband and I have used to guide us in our personal growth.   As we’ve matured, the goals have become more focused.

Think of: What will I do to achieve the following?  How will I feel to achieve the following? Why do I want these?

1. Short term goals.

2. Long term goals.

3. Places to go.

4. Things to do.

When planning, pay attention to:

What do I want more of?

What should I stop doing?

How will I be accountable?

After we design our plan, we look for themes in what we want.  2014 was our year,

RICH IN EXPERIENCES!

The theme helps us to stay focused and make decisions. It’s fun and we reference it throughout the year.

We love looking at the possibilities.  We chuckle at the audacity of our youthful dreams.  And, we are awed by what we’ve been able to achieve.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Experience-wise, it was a very ‘wealthy’ year!
I’m looking forward to determining this year’s theme!
